  There's an intentional delay of up to six months or more after the general availability date published on the Windows 10 release information page. Microsoft Teams Rooms is Microsoft's conferencing solution designed to transform your meeting room into a rich, collaborative experience. This proactive approach to room operations maintains optimal meeting experiences across sites and promotes user satisfaction. Most unexpected failures arise from changes in the base image with uncertain history of change management. This specific issue causes the Microsoft Teams Rooms application to fail to start after the nightly reboot.

  Important During the validation period, Microsoft Teams Rooms devices should not be updated to the uldate release of Windows 10 by any means. Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support.    

 

Microsoft teams meeting rooms update

   

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support. Teams Rooms app updates happen either via the Microsoft Store or via manual update. Teams Web client updates happen via the Teams web app delivery services. The Teams web client is a cloud-based service that doesn't require an update to the local UWP application installed on the device. Teams Rooms is governed by the Modern Lifecycle Policy. For more information, see Teams update process. You can update the user's policy from the Teams admin center or by using Teams PowerShell. With this update, new Teams Rooms devices now default to using modern authentication when connecting to Microsoft Teams and Exchange Online.

We strongly recommend that you test your Teams Rooms devices prior to end of August by turning on Modern authentication for their room accounts. This change helps prepare for the upcoming update in Exchange Online to turn off basic authentication starting October 1, User control and enablement of the noise suppression will follow post 4.
